Anti-Semites for Obama? Obama for Anti-Semites (and Racists) is Worse!

February 28, 2008

“Anti-Semites for Obama” by the Tennessee Republican Party barely recognizes the tip of the ugly iceberg. Obama’s association with and refusal to repudiate anti-Semites, racists, and Catholic-haters is indeed a problem, but his open promotion of anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, and racist individuals and organizations is far worse. Let us first examine the taqqiya du jour of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC), an association of shills that use their nominally Jewish identity to persuade Jewish voters that anti-Semitic and other forms of ordure from Barack Obama’s numerous associates doesn’t stink.

“The Tennessee Republican Party has attempted to smear Barack Obama in a crude, cynical outburst of dirty politics,” said NJDC Executive Director Ira N. Forman. “To use anti-Semitism for political gamesmanship is an insult to Jews of all political persuasions. And frankly, such a blatant stunt isn’t going to fool anyone.”

The National “Jewish” Democratic Council, with its long and extensive record of whitewashing and sanitizing anti-Semitism and other forms of hate while promoting hatred of Christians for political gamesmanship, is an insult not only to Jews but to all decent people of all political persuasions. We can see no other motive behind Ira Forman’s press releases than a desire to whitewash and sanitize at all costs Barack Obama’s willful association with and promotion of professional hate mongers and their reprehensible organizations. National Jewish Democratic Council’s Response to Debate Challenge

February 20, 2008

Last week, we challenged the National Jewish Democratic Council to “out and shame us” regarding our assertion, by which we stand, that Barack Obama surrounds himself with anti-Semites (along with racists and Catholic haters).

While we have yet to receive any reply by E-mail, we did get an audio message. While the speaker did not identify himself, we are pretty sure it was the NJDC. Click here to hear the message (.wav file, 52Kb)

Most of us learned in grade school playgrounds, perhaps the hard way, that it is a very bad idea to wave one’s fist in the air unless one is prepared to use it. NJDC is obviously not prepared to back up this statement:

“It is time all of us— organizations and individuals— take the responsibility for outing and yes, even shaming, the purveyors of sinat chinam [baseless hatred] in our community — to protect our values and to protect our community’s genuine political interests.”

because, when challenged to do exactly that, it crawled back into its hole and pulled the hole in after it. We, on the other hand, are quite serious when we say the following to the NJDC, MoveOn.org, and Barack Obama:

Michel

“Holen Sie es an!” (“Bring it on!”)

Before NJDC or the Antisemitism enabling and Denial League condemn us for using a German folk figure, we remind them that, had the Schlieffen Plan worked (or had someone taken out Gavrilo Princip before he fired those two shots in Sarajevo):

(1) 110,000 Americans would not have died in France’s war (actually Serbia’s war, noting its role in the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand). Also, millions of French and Germans would have been spared the horrors of trench warfare.

(2) Adolf Hitler would have lived a long, happy, and productive life as a second-rate artist, and six million European Jews (as well as three million Polish Gentiles plus assorted Gypsies and Slavs) might have lived to enjoy his paintings.

(3) The Soviet Union and its associated evils would never have existed.

NJDC = National Judenrat Democratic Capos (Kapos)

February 17, 2008

National Jewish Democratic Council whitewashes hate speech and anti-Semites for political gain

A kapo was a concentration camp trustee while Judenrats, as described by Wikipedia, “were generally composed of leaders of the Jewish community… They were forced by the Nazis to provide Jews for use as slave labor, and to assist in the deportation of Jews to extermination camps during the Holocaust. Those who refused to follow Nazi orders or were unable to cooperate fully were frequently rounded up and shot or deported to the extermination camps themselves.” Kapos and Judenrats therefore had the excuse that they had guns to their heads (literally), and that they would be killed if they did not tell other Jews that the cattle cars went to pleasant country resorts instead of extermination facilities. In contrast, no one is coercing the National Jewish Democratic Council into imitating Judenrats and kapos by whitewashing and sanitizing anti-Semites and other bigots for political gain.

There is nothing Jewish, at least in terms of values about common decency, about the National “Jewish” Democratic Council. NJDC consists of a few leaders and bloggers with Jewish names whose function is to convince Jewish voters that Barack Obama does not consort openly with anti-Semites and racists, that MoveOn.org does not promote hatred of Jews, Israel, and Catholics, and that the Jews for Jesus will turn us all into Gentiles if we don’t vote for whatever the Democrats happen to be running for President. Point/Counterpoint challenge to NJDC re: “No Place For Slander In Jewish Discourse”

February 13, 2008

To: NJDC, New York Jewish Week, Jerusalem Post
cc: online blogs, Republican Jewish Coalition

Gentlemen,

We read Ira Forman’s “No Place For Slander In Jewish Discourse” (http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2008/02/njdc-executiv-1.html) at the National Jewish Democratic Council’s blog and New York Jewish Week. The opinion piece also cites the Jerusalem Post, which we have copied on this letter.

The National Jewish Democratic Council wrote, “It is time all of us— organizations and individuals— take the responsibility for outing and yes, even shaming, the purveyors of sinat chinam [baseless hatred] in our community — to protect our values and to protect our community’s genuine political interests.” (more…)

Genuine Evil, the Counterpart to Baseless Hatred

February 12, 2008

Obama Surrounds Himself with Anti-Semites and Other Bigots

No Place For Slander In Jewish Discourse by Ira N. Forman of the National Jewish Democratic Council warns against sinat chinam, or baseless hatred. History abounds with examples, such as anti-Semites attempting to blame problems like bad harvests and plagues on Jews, Nero blaming Christians for the fire that destroyed Rome, Inquisitors and witch-hunters inventing heretics and witches to justify their existences along with the worst atrocities in history, and so on. Orwell’s 1984 includes a fictional example of a subversive named Goldstein, who may or may not even exist.

Sinat chinam, or baseless hatred, also has an opposite: the sanitization, whitewashing, or denial of genuine dangers and evils. This seems to be what NJDC is trying to do with Barack Obama and his anti-Semitic and anti-Israel connections. America First downplayed the menace of Nazism, and there were even Jewish collaborators who, whether willing or not, told other Jews that the cattle cars were going to take them to recreation camps instead of extermination facilities. Although Joseph McCarthy may have advanced himself through baseless persecution of imaginary Communists, genuine Communists and their fellow travelers were indeed trying to undermine the United States during the Cold War. Today, the Islamic Supremacist world tries to present a friendly face to the Judeo-Christian world while plotting its destruction. Its accomplices include Judas goats (literally trained animals that are kept alive and fed well so they will lead others of their own species to slaughter.) Holocaust denial and its equivalents are examples as well.

Dolores Umbridge of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is an outstanding if fictional example; she punishes Harry Potter for saying that Lord Voldemort has returned, even though Voldemort and his accomplice committed murder right in front of Potter. Grima Wormtongue of Lord of the Rings, who keeps telling his king that the Dark Lord is not a threat to the realm, is another. All these are the opposite of sinat chinam, and we really need a good word or simple phrase to describe them.

Let us begin, however, with baseless hatred. The National Jewish Democratic Council knows all about sinat chinam, because it is so good at practicing and promoting it. The following screenshots from Bubbie versus Christians and Jesus, also known as Bubbie versus the GOP, are shining examples of baseless hatred, paranoia, and bigotry for self-serving political gain. National Jewish Democratic Council Backs Anti-Israel Group

November 9, 2007

NJDC Squarely Behind Organization that Defends Islamofascism and Promotes Hatred of Israel

“Birds of a feather flock together” is a parable that dates back to Aesop if not before. The National Jewish Democratic Council, aka National Jihad Democratic Crescent, is now flocking with the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee. It is eminently clear that the National Jewish Democratic Council does not speak for any responsible American Jews whatsoever, a conclusion that is reinforced by the organization’s habit of spewing both anti-Christian and anti-Semitic propaganda.

NJDC-NJ CONDEMNS SEN. CARDINALE AND COUNCILWOMAN CARDINALE FOR DEMAGOGUERY IN STATE SENATE ELECTION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 5, 2007

Today, the New Jersey Chapter of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) condemned State Senator Gerald Cardinale and his wife, Demarest Councilwoman Carole Cardinale for implying that political opponent Joseph Ariyan is soft on terror and anti-Semitism because his law partner is affiliated with a group which defends Arab-Americans from discrimination.

We shall see that the group in question does a lot more than “defend Arab-Americans from discrimination,” although the concept of telling the entire truth as opposed to half-truths is a concept with which NJDC is totally unfamiliar. (more…)

NJDC’s Ira Forman Reponsible for Hate Cartoon

November 3, 2007

We previously reported on the National Jewish Democratic Council’s “Bubbie versus the GOP” video, which is for at least part of the time “Bubbie versus Christians and Jesus.” The problem with the video isn’t its portrayal of Republicans as red-robed cabalists and monsters–that’s just political mud-slinging–but the depiction of Christians, Jesus, and the Cross in a “This is the Enemy” context.

As shown by the Jewish Daily Forward, the hate video was published not only on the watch of NJDC Executive Director Ira Forman (the same individual who lied to Jewish voters about MoveOn.org not being a haven for anti-Semitic hate speech), but under his express supervision.

Ira Forman, executive director of the National Jewish Democratic Council, says his group commissioned the satirical cartoon, “Bubbie Versus the GOP,” in order to reach the “Generation Y” crowd that tunes into politics through such humor-laden vehicles as Jon Stewart’s cable-news satire “The Daily Show” and the Web site “JibJab,” which shows animated political parodies set to folksongs.

…The Republicans gained an ally in Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman, who said the video “crosses the line of sensitivity” and “pits Jews against Christians” by presenting the GOP as a “star chamber court in religious garb.” [He omits the fact that a Christian Cross is the centerpiece of the cabal in question, as shown below.] He said he was “saddened and disappointed” that the NJDC had used “stereotypic forms” and “conspiracy theories” to appeal to the Jewish community. “We, who have suffered from conspiracy theories, should be against it,” he said.

The Anti-Defamation League doesn’t spell out even a fraction of it, as shown by the screenshots below. (more…)

National Jewish Democratic Council: Put Up or Shut Up

October 3, 2007

Either endorse Joe Lieberman, or shut up and sit down

Steve Rabin’s “NJDC Strongly Condemns Mccain; Calls On Gop Leaders To Stand And Be Counted” says,

Today, the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) condemned Republican Senator John McCain in the strongest possible terms for saying that a candidate’s Christian faith is “an important characteristic” for a President, that he would prefer a Christian president and that the “Constitution established the United States of America as a Christian nation.” Additionally, NJDC called on the GOP leaders and fellow Presidential candidates to denounce McCain’s comments.

The National “Jewish” “Democratic” Council’s hatred of Christians and Christianity is well known, as demonstrated by its portrayal of Christians, Jesus, and the cross in a “This is the Enemy” context in its “Bubbie versus the GOP video.” As is usual with the NJDC’s penchant for dishonesty, it also took McCain’s statements out of context. National Jewish Democratic Council Whitewashed Al Sharpton

July 7, 2007

Now it is far from surprising that Ira Forman of the National Jewish Democratic Council whitewashed MoveOn.org Action Forum’s anti-Semitic (and racist and anti-Catholic) hate speech last year.

RJC to NJDC: End the Double Standard on Hate

RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks challenged a recently-reported remark by NJDC executive director Ira Forman in which Forman said, “Al Sharpton is not David Duke, he is not Louis Farrkahan. There are plenty of things Sharpton has said that are not pretty, but that doesn’t mean we never can speak with him.” (more…)
