Why Won’t Whites, Jews, and Catholics Vote for Obama?
Despite the endorsement of Senator Robert Casey (D-PA), Barack Obama lost the Pennsylvania primary by a 55-45 margin. In Luzerne County PA, a traditional Democratic region whose demographics include factory workers and the descendents of immigrant coal miners (many Catholic), Obama lost by a three to one margin. Why does Barack Obama have so much difficulty in getting white people (and especially Catholics and Jews) to vote for him? Let’s give “Barry” some hints and see his likely conclusion. (more…)
Obama’s acceptance of Moore, MoveOn.org support is an insult to our Armed Forces and nation

Dear Mr. Obama,
The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States commands the obedience of our men and women in uniform by law, but we are confident that you also appreciate the need to command their respect. We bring to your attention the endorsement of filmmaker Michael Moore at his Web site. (more…)
“Barack Obama: Change We Can Believe In” would be better written, “Barack Obama: Clap Your Hand and Believe Really Hard,” because its content is suitable only for people who believe in fairy tales. Obama’s statements show that he is indeed an elitist who regards anyone outside his circle of big-money donors (e.g. George Soros and his family) as ignorant small town trailer trash who, while “clinging to guns and religion,” will believe anything he tells them.
To a smart Harvard lawyer from a real city like Chicago instead of a coal hole like Scranton or Wilkes-Barre, the typical Pennsylvania farmer, coal miner, or factory worker is, while admittedly a registered Democrat, barely a step up from the mules that once pulled loads of coal in the state’s anthracite mines. As long as he gives that farmer, miner, or factory worker a gun (for hunting and target shooting only, of course), religion–or is that “opiate of the masses,” Barry?–and a six pack of beer every day, he will vote for anything that has a “D” after its name. That, at least, is what Barack Obama and his billionaire sugar daddy George Soros think. (more…)
American Hunters and Shooters Association (AHSA, a front for anti-Second Amendment entities) is running an ad in Pennsylvania that says Obama supports the rights of hunters and shooters. “The Democrats and Gun Control” from the Wall Street Journal exposes Obama for the liar he is.
As a state senate candidate in 1996, Mr. Obama endorsed a complete ban on all handguns in a questionnaire. The Obama campaign has claimed he “never saw or approved the questionnaire,” and that an aide filled it out incorrectly. But a few weeks ago, Politico.com found an amended version of the questionnaire. It included material added in Mr. Obama’s handwriting.
All this was inspired by the principle–which is quite true in itself–that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.

Across Pennsylvania, we’re living the problems.
An economy in shambles. Families struggling. Gas prices close to four dollars a gallon.
What’s Hillary Clinton’s answer?
Misleading negative ads.
Here’s the truth.
While she’s played political games, it’s Barack Obama who’s taken on the oil companies, demanding higher gas mileage standards and a larger investment in alternative energy.
It’s Obama who’s worked to strip tax breaks from the oil giants as they roll up record profits.
And he’s the only candidate who doesn’t take a dime from oil company PACs or lobbyists. The only one.
The Federal Election Commission reports that Clinton’s taken more from Big Oil and other PACs and lobbyists than any other candidate, Democrat or Republican.
The same old Washington politics isn’t going to lift our economy or bring down gas prices.
So if you’ve had your fill of that…
Vote for change we can believe in, Barack Obama for President.
Obama is looking for a scapegoat for high gasoline prices, and let us see whether his statements are accurate or misleading. Bloomburg.com carries energy prices here. As of April 14, crude oil was running at about $110 per barrel. There are 42 gallons to the barrel, so this translates to $2.62 per gallon of crude oil.
Here are current gasoline prices in Pennsylvania. As of April 14, regular gasoline is available from Sheetz for $3.25 per gallon. In Scranton (Northeast PA), prices range from $3.26 to $3.40 or so, and we don’t know where Obama got the $4.00 figure–except from a desire to engage in sensationalistic demagoguery.
Assume for the sake of argument that a gallon of crude oil can be refined into a gallon of gasoline. (Refining actually produces non-gasoline byproducts, but we will assume that the sale of these byproducts offsets the cost of the oil that is not converted into gasoline.)
The total markup on the gasoline is therefore 63 cents a gallon. Only a portion of this goes to the oil companies that Obama accuses of gouging the public. The oil company must pay the oil tanker or oil pipeline to deliver the oil to a refinery, which also has operating costs. Then someone must pay a tank truck to deliver the gasoline to Sheetz, Costco, Sam’s Club, or whomever, and the gas station must pay its employees and earn a reasonable profit. Finally, we must not forget sales taxes, highway taxes, and excise taxes!
This analysis reinforces our belief that Obama will say whatever he has to say to get credulous people to vote for him. Truth, as with the proclamations of Joseph Goebbels, is irrelevant to Obama’s campaign.
Maybe this is why Obama won’t wear a flag pin or show proper respect for our National Anthem. UN Secretary General might be a better job fit.
The following material hardly qualifies as hate speech (as did the material we have previously examined) but it represents the mind set of many of the people who are behind Obama. They apparently think Obama is their best bet for breaking down the American nation in favor of some “global community” and “world government.” Nelson’s Law says that if they are for Obama, then, we should naturally be against him.* Note that our first specimen is not some Obama groupie, but an actual precinct captain.

With more education and diverse experiences, we can eradicate racism and create world citizens. I am very proud of my heritage as an African-American, but I have also learned to view myself as a world citizen. There is only ONE HUMAN RACE. I am no longer limited by race, religion, nationality, or political ideology.
We remind the writer that the men who froze at Valley Forge, fought at New Orleans, had limbs blown off at Gettysburg and Antietam, suffered in the trenches, and hit the beaches at Okinawa and Normandy did not die for “the world.” They died for the United States and its almost unique liberties that have since been adopted by other countries. Perhaps Barack Obama is running for the wrong office, because it seems that Secretary General of the United Nations might be a better fit. (more…)
Adds blood libel of Israel, hopes the world will forget the Nazi Holocaust. (Why not just deny that there ever was a Holocaust? That would work a lot faster!)
This was posted to my.barackobama.com, which is under Mr. Obama’s editorial control. Note that:
(1) The page has a link to click for reporting objectionable material. Either no one found it objectionable, or Obama’s moderators found it perfectly acceptable. (We expect, though, that it will disappear after it becomes an Internet-wide scandal, same as for the National Black Panther Party page that had a long residence at my.barackobama.com.)
(2) Its content is 100 percent consistent with the positions of the people and entities with which Obama surrounds himself: Jeremiah Wright, MoveOn.org, Al Sharpton, and George Soros. Wright, MoveOn.org, and Soros believe that America and Israel are the primary causes of the world’s problems, while Sharpton’s hatred of white people and especially Jews is well known.
Racism, Barack, how we are seen, and our Israel Policy

Dear fellow Obamaphiles,
I know these issues are controversial, but they are IR-related with political relevance to Obama’s candidacy and hopefully, eventual presidency. So we should not run away from them.
In recent posts I’ve seen an uncomfortable reaction to Tony Wicher’s attempts to raise the Mideast issue with an angle that’s at variance with Obama’s position. If we were all in lockstep with Obama, there would be no reason to debate and ponder anything in the IR forum. Some of what I will say may seem a little too crude for a high-minded IR debate, but I think we should deal with the ground realities of how we are percieved abroad. Not understanding them will lead to more failures – whether that is Bush at the helm or Obama.
As indicated above, Tony “Zionist Thought Police” Wicher is not at all at variance with the positions of the people and entitities with which Obama surrounds himself, which suggests strongly that Obama is at least sympathetic to these positions as well.
But the truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there’s not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Well, perhaps the above picture should illustrate what Barack Obama seems to think of everything outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
While Barack Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe did not write the following, he apparently has no objection to statements of this nature in his own blog at my.barackobama.com.
