Warning: Pictures of Graphic Violence
This video includes explicit pictures of violence to women, and also terroristic bombings
We must remind the voters of this next November. This is especially devastating because comes not from Republicans but from Clinton’s fellow Democrat. Please circulate as widely as possible. (If by some chance Obama actually wins the nomination, we must circulate the picture of him posing arm in arm with the prominent racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton, but it looks like Hillary Clinton, who also endorsed Sharpton, will be the nominee.)
Last night each of the presidential campaigns reported their third-quarter fundraising numbers.
The results are clear. We continue to build the largest grassroots movement in history, but Washington lobbyists and special interests rallied to help Hillary Clinton out-raise us for the first time.
If we want real change in this country, then we need to prove that together we are stronger than the lobbyist-driven money machine that has dominated Washington for too long.
The situation here is simple. We are $2.1 million behind. We must close that gap right now. I need you to make a donation of $100:
Hillary Clinton aggressively seeks money from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs. She’s even said that these lobbyists represent real Americans.
I think it’s time to turn the page on that kind of politics, and that’s why I have not accepted a dime from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs in this race. We rely on a network of more than 350,000 ordinary people to make us competitive — more supporters than all the other Democratic candidates combined.
Washington lobbyists have chosen their candidate and are determined to provide her with an overwhelming advantage. But you can even up this contest.
In the face of the most entrenched political machine in Democratic politics, I believe a movement of ordinary Americans can change our country. And you can prove that right now.
I need you to make a donation to close the gap:
…at least if they say, “MoveOn.org to the White House”
We previously reported how Carrie Olson, COO of MoveOn.org, sent CafePress a letter demanding that it stop selling anti-MoveOn.org items because they used MoveOn.org’s “trademark,” even though (from what we saw of these items at other sites), MoveOn.org’s trademarked blue and red logo was nowhere to be seen on them. For some reason, however, Carrie Olson and MoveOn.org did not take any exception whatsoever to these CafePress products, which DO use the first part of MoveOn.org’s trademarked logo. In fact, the Web page tab says explicitly “Selling things with the MoveOn.org logo.”
We have downloaded the entire CafePress page in case future disputes come up over this issue. We are not qualified to give legal advice but, as we recall, a company’s failure to defend its trademark, even against friendly uses like those shown below, could compromise its right to defend the trademark, period. Ah, here we go:
Finally, failure to enforce trademark rights may result in a waiver of the right to enforce against an infringer, and widespread failure to enforce may result in an abandonment of the marks. 15 U.S.C. §1064. See Bellsouth Corp. v. Datanational Corp., 60 F.3d 1565 (Fed. Cir. 1995) (failure to police “walking fingers” trademark resulted in loss of trademark rights).
The first rule of swimming with sharks is not to get bitten. The second rule is that, if you do get bitten, don’t bleed, and under no circumstances must you thrash around. It doesn’t help, and it only serves to attract more sharks. As shown by Michelle Malkin, MoveOn.org is not only bleeding like a stuck pig, it is also thrashing around like a minnow with a broken back. (more…)
All criminals, and anyone else needing fake identification, you now have the perfect place to get a genuine state-issued driver’s license: New York State. Just tell them you are an “undocumented immigrant,” and you will then get a genuine driver’s license courtesy of Governor Eliot Spitzer. Better hurry, though, because the Department of Homeland Security will probably shut the whole thing down once it wakes up to the security implications!
ALBANY – Defending his plan to give driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants, Gov. Eliot Spitzer accused Republican critics yesterday of using “extremist rhetoric” to capitalize on still raw emotions surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Spitzer, a Democrat, vowed to push forward with allowing license applicants to substitute a valid foreign passport and other records for the required Social Security card. Such documents are difficult to forge and will be scrutinized in a process taking up to six weeks, he said.
Who says the foreign passport will be forged? There are doubtlessly corrupt foreign officials who will issue valid ones to anybody, under any name the person chooses, for the right financial incentive. There are doubtlessly countries in which Osama bin Laden’s pocket change constitutes a year’s pay for an official who can issue a valid passport with all the proper stamps and signatures. Even domestic criminals with felony records will probably be able to create new identities for themselves in this manner. Convicted child molesters will, if they can come up with enough money for a foreign passport, probably be able to create new identities so as to avoid registration and monitoring requirements. Won’t it be great when school districts hire “undocumented Mexican” Uncle Ernie (see the rock musical Tommy for details) as a service worker in an elementary school?
The only upside to this is that the criminals will all gravitate to New York State, which is more than welcome to the lot of them.
Either endorse Joe Lieberman, or shut up and sit down
Steve Rabin’s “NJDC Strongly Condemns Mccain; Calls On Gop Leaders To Stand And Be Counted” says,
Today, the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) condemned Republican Senator John McCain in the strongest possible terms for saying that a candidate’s Christian faith is “an important characteristic” for a President, that he would prefer a Christian president and that the “Constitution established the United States of America as a Christian nation.” Additionally, NJDC called on the GOP leaders and fellow Presidential candidates to denounce McCain’s comments.
The National “Jewish” “Democratic” Council’s hatred of Christians and Christianity is well known, as demonstrated by its portrayal of Christians, Jesus, and the cross in a “This is the Enemy” context in its “Bubbie versus the GOP video.” As is usual with the NJDC’s penchant for dishonesty, it also took McCain’s statements out of context.
