….The second [complaint], filed by the Muslim Student Association (“MSA”), represented by Shirwac Mohamed and Nayema Khan, charged The Primary Source with harassment and creating a hostile environment on campus through the publication of “Islam-Arabic Translation: Submission,” a commentary published in its April 11, 2007 edition that imitated the format of the MSA’s advertisement for events during Islamic Awareness Week.

…In the case of the Muslim Student Association (“MSA”) v. The Primary Source, by a vote of 7 to 0, we find that the MSA proved, by a preponderance of the evidence, that The Primary Source harassed Muslim students at Tufts, and created a hostile environment for them by publishing “Islam-Arabic Translation: Submission.” The Committee found that the MSA established that the commentary at issue targeted members of the Tufts Muslim community for harassment and embarrassment, and that Muslim students felt psychologically intimidated by the piece.

There is an outstanding scene in the movie With Fire and Sword in which the Polish voyevode (governor) Jarema Wisniowiecki is handed a message from the Cossack chief Bogdan Chmielnicki, with whom he is at war. Wisniowiecki tears it in half without even reading it, and throws the pieces to the floor. This is what we think should be done with “Tufts University: Outcome Of The Committee On Student Life’s Hearing Of Complaints Brought By David Dennis And The Muslim Student Association Against The Primary Source.”

Nowhere does the Constitution give anyone the right “not to be offended,” or to interfere with the First Amendment rights of others because they feel offended. We have in fact reposted the “offensive” ad for public inspection, so people can assess the Committee on Student Life’s judgment for themselves. The Committee on Student Life should be advised of a related case at our own alma mater, the Pennsylvania State University.

Joshua H. Stulman, the former Penn State art student whose anti-terrorism artwork was censored by Penn State, and who was labeled a racist propagandist for Israel by two professors, filed a Complaint in federal court last night, claiming violations of his First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and expression and of association, and that he was defamed by School of Visual Arts Director Charles Garoian.

Stulman created a series of paintings, “Portraits of Terror,” to address the issues of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism in Israel. Each of the paintings in the series is based on news articles, photographs and well-documented research.

Penn State officials and the Muslim Student Association advisor who professed concern about Stulman’s work refused Stulman’s repeated efforts to meet with them.

Penn State art professor Robert Yarber, also a named defendant in this lawsuit, labeled Stulman a racist propagandist who promoted Islamophobia, and said Israel was a terrorist state that had no right to exist.

Penn State administrator Garoian announced that he cancelled the exhibition of Stulman’s anti-terrorism art exhibit because of Penn State ’s hate speech code and its policy on nondiscrimination and harassment. Garoian also falsely said that Stulman’s work was “commissioned” by Penn State Hillel and that Stulman’s artwork was used to advance Hillel’s “particular cultural and political” agenda.

Stulman is seeking damages and injunctive relief.

More on this matter here:

As for Tufts’ Muslim Student Association, if the following shoe fits, they must wear it. We are posting the Primary Source’s “offensive” ad prominently on the Internet for the world to see.

“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” — The Koran, Sura 8:12
MONDAY Author Salam Rushdie needed to go into hiding after Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini declared a fatwa calling for his death for writing The Satanic Verses, which was declared “blasphemous against Islam.”

We looked up Sura 8:12 in our own copy of the Koran, and it says, “I will cast a dread into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads then, and strike off from them every finger-tip.” The fact that the Muslim Student Association finds it “offensive” does not make it any less true. Perhaps the Muslim Student Association finds it offensive because some of its members support death fatwas, strinking off heads, and so on.

Slavery was an integral part of Islamic culture. Since the 7th century, 14 million African slaves were sold to Muslims compared to 10 or 11 million sold to the entire Western Hemisphere. As recently as 1878, 25,000 slaves were sold annually in Mecca and Medina. (National Review 2002).
TUESDAY The seven nations in the world that punish homosexuality with death all have fundamentalist Muslim governments.

This is also a true statement. European and American slave traders bought much of their human “merchandise” from Arab slave traders. Militant Sudanese “Muslims” enslave and even crucify Negro Christians today. Gay Palestinians seek to flee to Israel to avoid being beaten or killed by their own government.

In Saudi Arabia, women make up 5% of the workforce, the smallest percentage of any nation worldwide. They are not allowed to operate a motor vehicle or go outside without proper covering of their body. (Country Reports on Human Rights pracitces 2001)
WEDNESDAY Most historians agree that Muhammed’s second wife Aisha was 9 years old when their marriage was consummated.

Saudi Arabia’s laws define a woman as half of a human being for “blood money” compensation purposes. As an example, someone who causes a wrongful death to a Muslim man must pay his family 100,000 riyals, but a woman is worth only 50,000. Christians are half-human under Saudi law; a Christian man is worth 50,000 riyals and a Christian woman 25,000. Saudi law defines Hindus as only one-fifteenth human.

“Not equal are those believers who sit and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit. Unto all Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit by a special reward.” — The Koran, Sura 4:95
THURSDAY The Islamist guerillas in Iraq are not only killing American soldiers fighting for freedom. They are also responsible for the vast majority of civi[l]ian casualties.

Well, is the above statement in the Koran or isn’t it?

Ibn Al-Ghazzali, the famous Islamic theologian, said, “The most satisfying and final word on the matter is that marriage is a form of slavery. The woman is man’s slave and her duty therefore is absolute obedience to the husband in all that he asks of her person.”
FRIDAY Mohamed Hadfi, 31, tore out his 23-year-old wife Samira Bari’s eyes in their apartment in the southern French city of Nimes in July 2003 following a heated argument about her refusal to have sex with him. (Herald Sun)

The above is far from the only incident of misogynistic violence and femicide that has been justified by militant “Islamic” doctrine and culture. To the above we will add some more quotations from the “Holy” Koran, which the Muslim Student Association is free to consider as offensive as it wants. If they simply cannot stand it, we remind them that the United States has no Berlin Walls to keep in people who do not want to be here. They are free to leave at any time, and move back to Third World dictatorships that are universally rated as either “Partly Free” or “Not Free” by Most people consider themselves fortunate to live in the United States, which has a 1/1 Freedom House rating for political freedoms and civil rights (1=best, 7=worst), but perhaps these “Muslims” would be more comfortable in 7/6 Saudi Arabia or 7/7 Sudan (where militant “Islamic” whites enslave and even crucify Christian Negroes).

Sura 5:51 O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Sura 9:30 And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

“As for what a true martyr can expect, Chief Mufti of the Palestinian Authority Police, Sheik Abd Al-Salam Skheidm, spelled it out in 1999. “From the moment his first drop of blood spills, he feels no pain and he is absolved of all his sins; he sees his seat in heaven; he is spared the tortures of the grave; he is spared the horrors of the Day of Judgment; he is married to 70 black-eyed women; he can vouch for 70 of his family members to enter paradise; he earns the crown of glory, whose precious stone is worth all the world.” (Mona Charen, “U.S. needs to recognize differences between Palestinian, Israeli responses.”)

Report: “Palestinian Media Watch”: Pressures Exerted on Palestinian Children to seek Shahada – Death for Allah
TV: Child Writes to Mother, “Rejoice over My Death” By Nadav Shragai Ha’aretz January 8, 2003:
“Ask for Death – the life will be given to you.” This slogan, which was broadcast on Palestinian television on July 5th of last year, was also the headline chosen by the authors of Palestinian Media Watch as the title of their 40th research report. This report examines the social pressure exerted by the Palestinian Authority [PA] on children to die as “Shahids” [Death for Allah].
During the Iran-Iraq War, the Ayatollah Khomeini imported 500,000 small plastic keys from Taiwan. The trinkets were meant to be inspirational. After Iraq invaded in September 1980, it had quickly become clear that Iran’s forces were no match for Saddam Hussein’s professional, well-armed military. To compensate for their disadvantage, Khomeini sent Iranian children, some as young as twelve years old, to the front lines. There, they marched in formation across minefields toward the enemy, clearing a path with their bodies. Before every mission, one of the Taiwanese keys would be hung around each child’s neck. It was supposed to open the gates to paradise for them.

At one point, however, the earthly gore became a matter of concern. “In the past,” wrote the semi-official Iranian daily Ettelaat as the war raged on, “we had child-volunteers: 14-, 15-, and 16-year-olds. They went into the minefields. Their eyes saw nothing. Their ears heard nothing. And then, a few moments later, one saw clouds of dust. When the dust had settled again, there was nothing more to be seen of them. Somewhere, widely scattered in the landscape, there lay scraps of burnt flesh and pieces of bone.” Such scenes would henceforth be avoided, Ettelaat assured its readers. “Before entering the minefields, the children [now] wrap themselves in blankets and they roll on the ground, so that their body parts stay together after the explosion of the mines and one can carry them to the graves.”

To conclude, we recognize a very clear difference between Islam as it is practiced by civilized people in North America and Turkey, and the militant forms that are used to justify violence, misogyny, femicide, murder of gay people, suicide bombing, and similar conduct. The Primary Source’s ad was clearly intended to condemn the latter and not the former. If Tufts’ Muslim Students Association feels “offended” by criticism of violence in the name of Allah, misogyny, femicide, terrorism, and persecution of gay people, its members might feel happier in Hamas-controlled Gaza, Saudi Arabia, Iran, or a similar location.

This is especially true of any Muslim students who “felt psychologically intimidated by the piece;” if the shoe fits, they must wear it. Jews do not feel “psychologically intimidated” by discussions of Old Testament passages that show how ancient Hebrews engaged in genocide and ethnic cleansing (e.g. God’s purported injunctions to “smite” entire populations). Christians do not feel “psychologically intimidated” by discussions of the Inquisition, Thirty Years War, and similar medieval and Renaissance atrocities that were perpetrated in the name of Jesus. This is because modern Jews and Christians do not act that way, and they recognize that the things that happened centuries ago have nothing to do with their faiths. Most Turkish and North American Muslims do not act that way either.

Only militant “Muslims” behave as their ancestors did. We have no doubt that the “Muslims” who were just arrested for allegedly plotting to murder soldiers at Fort Dix felt “psychologically intimidated” by our law enforcement authorities, and the “flying imams” who caused a U.S. Air flight to be cancelled by chanting to Allah and then allegedly acting like they might hijack the airplane felt “psychologically intimidated” by their behavior’s consequences. We are sure that every actual or would-be terrorist who travels through our airports feels “psycholigically intimidated” by repeated messages that urge travelers to report suspicious behavior and unattended luggage to authorities. We, however, felt “psychologically intimidated” by seeing flames pouring from the World Trade Center, and then seeing another jetliner crash into the second tower.

As for the Committee on Student Life, we recommend that its members take a 5-minute “sensitivity training” course by viewing the following video:
