Barack Obama’s Hateful Connections, Part 3

[Copying and distribution of the following is encouraged]

We previously reported the following:

  1. Barack Obama’s friend Al Sharpton, with whom he appears arm in arm at a meeting of the National Action Network, is a known racist and anti-Semite. The National Action Network is a hate organization that is no better than the Ku Klux Klan or White Aryan Resistance (noting its behavior prior to the arson of a Jewish-owned store in Harlem).
  2. Barack Obama’s financial sponsor George Soros hates Israel (and also the United States). Soros has called the United States “a danger to world peace” that needs “de-Nazification,” while blaming Israel for causing anti-Semitism.
  3. Barack Obama’s friends at have not only knowingly and willfully sponsored anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic hate speech at their Action Forum, they have published an official pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel bulletins that promote Gush Shalom and Electronic Intifada. Another bulletin accuses “Zionists” of having “divided loyalties.”
  4. Barack Obama’s spiritual guide, Jeremiah Wright, has made racist statements and has indicated hatred of Israel.

Now we will discuss Jeremiah Wright, whose “War in Iraq IQ Test” focuses on blaming the United States and Israel for most of the world’s problems.

“Barack Obama’s Pastor is a “Total Hater”” from Atlas Shrugs.

Obama’s Pastor sounds more like a hate spewing imam. I am shocked this hasn’t gotten real media play (oh yeah, it’s Obama.) The more you peel back the layers of the Obama onion, the more rotten it is at its core. Obama’s checkered resume.

CARLSON: But Jeremiah Wright is at least a mixed bag politically. His work to improve conditions in impoverished black neighborhoods may be laudable, but his rhetoric includes attacks against white people and against Israel. Should Obama distance himself from Dr. Wright, and if so, can he effectively do that?

We welcome back to discuss that MSNBC political analyst Pat Buchanan and nationally syndicated radio show host Bill Press. Now, I have kind of liked Barack Obama from the very beginning. He seems moderate in tone. I spent all morning reading Jeremiah Wright online. All the church newsletters are available. The guy is a full-blown hater, actually. This is just pulled at random.

Here is his attack on Natalee Holloway as a slut. “Black women are being raped daily in Africa. One white girl from Alabama gets drunk at a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and gives it up while in a foreign country and that stays in the news for months.” In other words, she is a slut. [Or, as Al Sharpton and his entourage called the Central Park jogger who was not only raped, but beaten to a pulp and hospitalized, a “whore.”]

Nine-eleven, he says: “White America got their wake-up call after 9-11. White America and the Western world came to realize people of color had not gone away, faded in the woodwork, or just disappeared as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.” So 9-11 was payback for white racism. I mean, it goes on, and I will read more.

…CARLSON: Here is the Israeli thing, we were talking about this at the commercial break. This is quoting now the Reverend Wright: “The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.”

He compares Israel to South Africa repeatedly. He attacks Israel as a racist state.

Here, by the way, are Jeremiah Wright’s own words:

I use his [Marvin Gaye’s] words today on the third Sunday of a New Year to keep before you the painful truth of who we are and where it is we are in this racist United States of America! What’s goin’ on?
…The reality, however, is that the entire war in Iraq and the larger “war on terror” have been based on lies, half-truths and distortions to serve the agenda of the United States imperialism. Where is the public outcry? Where is the outrage? What’s goin’ on?

“Racist United States of America,” and “United States imperialism.” We savvy, Mr. Wright. We savvy quite well what you, and probably Barack Obama, are selling, and we don’t want any.

Addendum; more good stuff from the New York Times (bracketed comments are ours)

But Mr. Wright’s political statements may be more controversial than his theological ones. He has said that Zionism has an element of “white racism.” (For its part, the Anti-Defamation League says it has no evidence of any anti-Semitism by Mr. Wright.) [No surprise, the ADL also whitewashed’s anti-Semitic and other forms of hate speech.]

On the Sunday after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Mr. Wright said the attacks were a consequence of violent American policies. [i.e. the 3000 people in the airplanes and World Trade Center were “little Eichmanns,” to use Ward Churchill’s terms, who somehow deserved it.] Four years later he wrote that the attacks had proved that “people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West went on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns.”

While Mr. Obama stated his opposition to the Iraq war in conventional terms, Mr. Wright issued a “War on Iraq I.Q. Test,” with questions like, “Which country do you think poses the greatest threat to global peace: Iraq or the U.S.?”

Take the War on Iraq IQ Test

Do you know enough to justify going to war with Iraq?

1. Q: What percentage of the world’s population does the U.S. have?

A: 6% [correction – 4.8% of world’s population – 6.2 billion vs. 280 million]

2. Q: What percentage of the world’s wealth does the U.S. have?

A: 50% [correction – 22% of global GDP]

Jeremiah Wright apparently feels that the United States is somehow evil for creating 22% of the world’s GDP with only 4.8% of its population. It is telling that free nations like the United States, Israel, Japan, and so on have disproportionately high GDPs in comparison with dictatorships like Saudi Arabia and Iran, even though the latter have oil wealth. Israel’s per-person GDP is more than double that of oil-rich Saudi Arabia and Iran, probably because people who read books tend to be smarter and more productive than those who burn them.

…7. Q: What percent of US military spending would ensure the essentials of life to everyone in the world, according the UN?

A: 10% (that’s about $40 billion, the amount of funding initially requested to fund our retaliatory attack on Afghanistan)

Jeremiah Wright seems to believe that we should sing Kumbaya with the perpetrators of 9/11, if we interpret the above correctly.

…14. Q: How many gallons of agent Orange did America use in Vietnam?

A: 17 million.

Again, Wright focuses on how bad his own country is versus how bad the other side was. We remind him that the victorious North Vietnamese conducted mass murders of political opponents, while Pol Pot committed genocide in Cambodia.

…17. Q: How many casualties did the Iraqi military inflict on the western forces during the [first] Gulf War ?

A: 0

18. Q: How many retreating Iraqi soldiers were buried alive by U. S. tanks with ploughs mounted on the front?

A: 6,000

Again, Barack Obama’s mentor is looking for things to be wrong with the United States. The Hague and Geneva Conventions do not protect retreating enemy soldiers from attack; the laws of war say only that you can’t attack an enemy soldier after he surrenders.

…22. Q: Is there any proof that Iraq plans to use its weapons for anything other than deterrence and self-defense?

A: No

Tell that to the people whom Saddam Hussein was throwing into plastic shredders while his murderous son Uday had young women kidnapped, whom he would then rape and torture to death for his personal entertainment. Uday (or was it Qusay?) also brutalized and tortured Iraqi soccer players who failed to win.

…30. Q: What was the child death rate in Iraq in 1989 (per 1,000 births)?

A: 38

31. Q: What was the estimated child death rate in Iraq in 1999 (per 1,000 births)?

A: 131 (that’s an increase of 345%)

It would have helped if Saddam Hussein had not diverted oil-for-food money that could have been used for food and medical care for his people. Come to think of it, the UN was itself involved in this scandal.

32. Q: How many Iraqis are estimated to have died by October 1999 as a result of UN sanctions?

A: 1.5 million

33. Q: How many Iraqi children are estimated to have died due to sanctions since 1997?

A: 750,000

See above.

…41. Q: How many UN resolutions did Israel violate by 1992?

A: Over 65

42. Q: How many UN resolutions on Israel did America veto between 1972 and 1990?

A: 30+

43. Q: How much does the U.S. fund Israel a year?

A:$5 billion

44. Q: How many countries are known to have nuclear weapons?

A: 8

45. Q: How many nuclear warheads has Iraq got?

A: 0

46. Q: How many nuclear warheads has US got?

A: Over 10,000

47. Q: Which is the only country to use nuclear weapons?

A: The US

Jeremiah Wright thinks we should have sung “Kumbaya” with the perpetrators of Pearl Harbor, the Bataan Death March, and the Rape of Nanking. We savvy. We savvy real good.

48. Q: How many nuclear warheads does Israel have?

A: Over 400

If our neighbors threatened us with genocide on an almost-daily basis, we would want nuclear warheads too. Of course, the Arabs and their terrorist organizations get a pass from Barack Obama’s pastor.

49. Q: Has Israel ever allowed UN weapon inspections?

A: No

50. Q: What percentage of the Palestinian territories are controlled by Israeli settlements?

A: 42%

51. Q: Is Israel illegally occupying Palestinian land?

A: Yes

52. Q: Which country do you think poses the greatest threat to global peace: Iraq or the U.S.?

A: ????

53. Q: Who said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”?

A: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We agree, which is why we are exposing Barack Obama’s hateful connections–including Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Members of Trinity are asked to think about these things and be prayerful as we sift through the “hype” being poured on by the George Bush-controlled media.

Rev Jeremiah A Wright, Jr.

War on Iraq IQ Test – written by: Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, placed the following ‘War on Iraq IQ Test’ on the Trinity “Pastor’s Page” for Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003.

[…] Sharpton’s feathers suggests–especially in the context of other unsavory contacts like Jeremiah Wright–that Mr. Obama himself might have something against “white America” […]

  2. guvjim Says:

God help us if Obama becomes president and carries his hatred of Israel with him. I, as a Christian, am persuaded that it is imperative that we uphold Israel. God has said that He would “bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you”. I don’t feel we can afford the risk of having an Anti-Semite in the Whitehouse.

  3. ga4obama Says:

    The Husaria and guvjim,

I’m sorry to tell you, but you are so sadly mistaken and it sickens me to see how jaded and uninformed you are as far as Senator Obama and Al Sharpton are concerned. Neither one of you have claimed that Sharpton or Obama have lied. Can you say the same about Hillary or McCain? NO. Neither Sharpton, nor Obama are Anti-Semites and even I take offense to that bogus allegation. I have been following both men and continue to be impressed by each of their dedication to social equality and making America better for EVERYONE, not just blacks. Sharpton gets a bad rap from many whites because he fights for people of color. WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH THAT? What is wrong with a person who wants to protect people and hold the “powers that be” accountable for what they do and how they mistreat Black Americans and other people of color? If you really want to look at it, we shouldn’t have to feel the need to be protected from a country in which we live. We shouldn’t have to deal with inner-city schools that don’t receive usable textbooks until the middle of the school year. We shouldn’t have to deal with drugs being dumped into inner cities for people to sell and get hooked on. Certain things just should not be! But they are and we have to deal with it. What has Bush done for anyone except rich white people? NOTHING! In fact, name one President that has done something for Black people…….I’m waiting……….. And if you can name something, look how far back you had to go in order to come up with something. Obama and Sharpton are both great men who not only want to improve conditions in this country for Black people, but for all people. Why are you so against that? What has Sharpton said or done that makes him an Anti-Semite? What about Obama? I didn’t ask what his pastor has said or what his 3rd grade teacher has said that makes Obama an Anti-Semite, but what has Obama said or done that has convinced you that he is an Anti-Semite? I encourage you to do your own research on these men. Get your information from several different sources, not just your own racist, ignorant and biased sources. Why has no one talked about the HELL that Bush has turned this country into. Everything from gas prices to starting a war on pure LIES and everything that has followed as a result. How our soldiers are dying every single day and many of them will come home with limbs missing, blind, and mentally unstable as a result of this BOGUS war. And what’s worse, our healthcare system is so jacked up that they won’t even be able to get the proper care to give them a normal life again. And don’t say they have medical benefits through the VA, because their healthcare is bad now, wait until all of our soldiers come back home and and there’s a line 5 miles long of soldiers that need care. What do you think will happen then? Why has no one talked about the Clintons and how Bill kick-started the movement of our jobs being shipped out of this country and now many people don’t have jobs…..or Hillary and how she is a manipulative opportunist who is a liar and continues to make race a part of her campaign instead of dealing with real solutions to the real problems that plague our country thanks to her tactless Husband and this sorry excuse for a president that currently holds office. I challenge you all to not just spew UNFOUNDED accusations, but know what your talking about before you go on a website and SLAM somebody with untruths. Please.

  4. wingedhussar1683 Says:

I won’t argue that many of the things you mention are indeed problems, or that Hillary is a manipulative opportunist. You cannot, however, deny that Al Sharpton & Co. did spew racial and anti-Semitic hatred on more than one occasion, including two incidents (Crown Heights riots, Freddy’s Fashion Mart) in which people were actually killed.

  5. bkriss Says:

It is important for all people of the United States to look very closely at Obama and learn as much as they can about him and who is really is. This can only be determined by looking at his past, not the speeches that he is currently giving as these are prepared and thoroughly gone over by numerous advisors. Obama is indeed an elegant and effective speaker and he comes at a time when America is desperately seeking the change that he so readily offers.

My great concern is that America might get something very much different than what they hoped for. If you will look back at History, even Hitler was revered as the people of that time were looking for change as well. No, they did not have the opportunity to vote him in, but perhaps they would have if given the chance. What a speaker he was as well. I am in no way saying that Obama is “like” Hitler, but just pointing out that there are so many unknowns.

We all know the world is not as it seems and most people, especially politicians do not get up and tell you the whole truth about themselves and their beliefs. They present what the public wants to hear in hopes of getting into office so they can make changes that reflect their beliefs as well as those of their constituents.

A person is and always will be judged by the company that they keep. That in mind, I stress for each and everyone of you to keep and open mind and look into Obama’s past fullly. Do not turn a blind eye to what you don’t want to see as that is easy to do when you so desperately want the change that he so readily offers.

With Obama being basically “new” on the scene it is important for the people of the United States to learn as much as they can about his character and who he is. At this point, it seems that the recent facts that have been brought to light concerning his close association with Rev. Wright are quite alarming. There is absolutely no comparison that I am aware of in the past of anyone seeking to become the President of the United States that has had such a close association and allegiance to an organization that supports a doctrine along these lines. I am referring to a separatists doctrine, whether it be black or white.

I was quite relieved to here the voice of other African Americans speaking out vehemently that all “Black” churches were not like this, though I already knew this to be the case. This coupled with the fact that Obama’s wife said on more than none occassion, that not until recently was she proud to be an American. Do I need to say that again???? Does it make any sense what so ever for us to envision having the first lady of The United States quoted as saying this? I must say, no!

It is one thing to have suffered, as everyone knows that the Blacks in America have, and that the suffering goes on even today. But in order for the Black community to move forward they must join together as one with the rest and not attempt to gain strength through separatism.

At this point, I don’t buy Obama’s “pitch” that he is the one to unite the people of all color. I need to be shown evidence of his past actions that support that he has been doing just that, not a lot of rhetoric on the eve of an election.

I urge everyone to have an open mind and remember that things as well as people are not always as they seem.

  6. bkriss Says:

As an educator, I would like to add one more note. I have been greatly alarmed over my 30 years as a teacher with the inequities that I have witnessed in regards to race. Going as far back as when I was a small child, it just did not seem “right” for people to be treated unkindly due to the color of their skin, and to not be given the same educational opportunities. Perhaps that is why I became a teacher after all….

I have been questioned by my fellow black college classmates about where I learned certain things as they claimed to have not been exposed to any of this. I went to a small rural high school in the South and certainly was not exposed to the highest educational standards. Regardless, I was exposed to enough. The Black College classmates that questioned me felt they had been short changed, and I must agree as many of them grew up in a time of separatism. Yes, it is separatism that kept the Black people behind educationally, as they were not allowed to learn from what the other’s knew. All of that is now behind us and all people of color can to to the same schools as everyone else. Yes differences continue today as they always will, but there are people suffering of all colors in America, not just the Blacks. The opportunities are there, but the cycle must be broken and that can only be done through education, compassion and unity.

Regardless of my color, I will state that I am an AMERICAN, not an African American, Anglo Saxon American, but an AMERICAN! That is the way it should be as we are all Americans. We should strive together for Unity and not support any form of Separtism as it will only divide us further apart.

Though, I must admit that I have only had a close association with two predominantly Black Colleges, I must say that I strongly feel that the education at these two Colleges is less than it should be. The students are not being prepared in the way that they should and as a result the saga continues. More and more “educated”, but not really educated, young Blacks are coming out of these two Colleges ill prepared for the work force. This must stop! The parents do not see this, as they are so very proud of their child’s accomplishments. But, I do, as I work in the field and see the direct results and it is wrong! How can this be changed? I say it is through unity. There are other’s out there that want the best for people of any color and I am one of those. It truly angers me when I see anyone treated differently due to their appearance, whether it be that they appear to be poor, or black, or anything else.

We need someone that is kind and compassionate and truthful. Someone that has a track record to show this to us not just a great speaker. If Obama is that person, then he must show that to the American People. If he does not, and the American People vote for a dream, then they might get just that, a dream, a very bad dream.

  7. vince54 Says:

Apparently, you have never read anything substantial in recent American theology. Your attack is unfounded and uneducated. Dr. Wright is a proponent of recognizing Christian values as it has been expressed in the best of the African American heritage. He recognizes African Americans as a distinct group of people with a common heritage formed within the United States during our own aparthied legal system of which Dr. Wright is old enough to remember. This African American heritage focus does not claim superiority over other people of different heritages, such as, the Scottish American heritage that I am from. Dr. Wright reminds those of European heritage of the tragedies that our heritage imposed on his people group through slavery, racism, etc. Perhaps he speaks with the over emphasis of a victim, which you might try to sympathize with, but he is not embracing separatist or racist teachings. He merely teaches that they bring forward the best of their heritage.

Recent black theology can only be viewed as racist or separatist by those who have not read some of the thoughtful proponents such as Dr. Wright. Dr. Wright does not agree with Nation of Islam Minister Farrakhan, though he recognize his importance in contemporary black American culture.

Please be less polemic. Try reading a few more books that are beyond your own circle of thinkers.

  8. wingedhussar1683 Says:

I think the recent revelation about Wright’s “God damn America” speech shows that hate is indeed the basis of his preaching, and the fact that he gave an award to Farrakhan shows that he promotes and empowers haters.

I am well aware of the injustices that were practiced on Black people through the mid-20th century (when segregation was finally abolished). If Wright wants to preach hatred of “white America” in general, as opposed to outrage over white supremacist organizations (in which case he would find himself surrounded by plenty of allies including myself), he is choosing to perpetuate racial divisions in our society.

  9. bkriss Says:

    To Vince54
Yes it appears that from what you are saying that you are schooled in many areas that I am not, and I welcome your knowledge and opinion. I must readily admit that my life does not allow the time for me to become educated anywhere near your level in these regards. I respect and appreciate what you are saying in regards to History and facts, but would like to know a bit about your personal opinions. Please respond and tell me what you truly feel about the actions of Dr. Wright. I am referring to what is being played on the media for everyone to see, not the interpretation of it by others.

    To everyone else,
I can understand Obama and his wife choosing to attend a church regularly of their choice in which they know that contorversial topics will be preached from time to time. They are adults and have the ability to discern right from wrong. But to regularly bring their children to listen to Dr. Wright with the full understanding that at anytime he might blurt out something so controversial that Obama, by his own admission says is wrong, is beyond me. The only explanation that I can have for this is that Obama and his wife truly did not feel that this was wrong as they have been taking their young children to this church since birth. It is only now, that the media has been exposed to these controversial sermons, that Obama then is stepping up and distancing himself from Dr. Wright condeming many of his controversial statements.

Please understand that I am not in anyway condeming Dr. Wright fully, as I understand that he has done many good things in his career. It is just that as a pastor with a large following, he is revered and looked up to continually for guidance. When someone so revered spouts things such as what I have seen in the media recently, it has the possibility of having a very strong affect on others. As a teacher, I am always on guard to not talk about controversial subjects to my students as it is the parents place to discern what they should be exposed to in these regards. Students, like parishoners idolize their teachers and pastors to the point that they take their word as factual Imagine that someone in the pews of Dr. Wright’s church was struggling with how to handle their anger at being treated poorly by whites, and after leaving one of these fired up sermons, acted out on this anger. Yes, I can hear what some of you may say to this now. It would not be Dr. Wright’s fault for what his parishoners do after leaving one of his sermons. But think again, Dr Wright is almost like a prophet to some of his parishoners, a messenger of God. The things that he said were very harsh and specific and could very well be taken by some as a message for them to do something about this inequity.

I happen to know that the Bible teaches peace and good will to others, not anger and hate. Much like the Koran and the Muslim Faith teaches, but we have all seen many tragedies carried out in the name of Allah. This is due to a group of radicals using the Muslim Faith as a sounding board to get to the masses to incite uprising across the globe.

I must say that I for one am very concerned that there are large groups of people that seem to support this sort of Black Theology as it truly looks very much like the beginning of what has become of many people who call themselves Muslims, and kill in the name of Allah.

Is this truly where America is headed? I can assure you that our enemies are cheering all of this along as they want to see unrest on our soil. They have suffered for so long and don’t understand why we have not. When we are busy fighting amongst ourselves, then we will be the weakest and vunerable.

This is my fear. I look forward to your replies.

Revisionists such as Jeremiah Wright and those like him are for self-serving interest. Thay cannot change the facts of history in the U.S.A. or around the world. If these were true bible believers they would know that the Jews are GODS chosen people, and the land that they inhabit was promised and given to them by GOD almighty. There you have a small nation surrounded by enemies, and yet they thrive with GOD’S blessing. Jesus himself is a Jew. America with all her faults is still the best place in the world to call home. Blaming the Jews and Americans for all the misfortunes in the world is another self serving way to put the blame on a small perportion of the world. These hate mongers should look to the mirror to find the faults that cause thier misfortune, and look to GOD to change it.
